Our New Sidewalk

Carl was a great helper to John in laying this sidewalk over the weekend.  He handed a brick to John everytime he needed one and he filled many loads of sand into his little wheelbarrow and brought it over.  The best part was that Carl had such a great time!

Now that it's done, Carl helps by spraying water on it.  We do this every night until the sand is completely settled in between the bricks.  Who knew that a 2 year old could be so helpful in getting a really big project done more quickly?!!

Abe Alexander ~ 6 months

Abe had his 6 month doctor appointment on May 25th.

He weighed 18lbs-5oz. (65th percentile)

and he is 26 inches long (33rd percentile)

He is rolling all over the floor now and grabbing everything in sight.

He is eating rice cereal once a day and we are getting ready to start some veggies soon.

He is still full of smiles and coos!

Who's Who?

I guess they don't look as much alike as I keep telling everyone...  What does our audience think?  Can you tell which baby is Abe and which one is Carl?  Both photos were taken at exactly 5 months and 15 days.  No fair looking at the background to see which house we were in!

Springtime fun

We got out the bike trailer today, but just used it as a stroller and went for a walk.

Carl is almost too big for it!
